Rishikesh is very famous as year around travel destination and suppose to have a comfortable climate round the year. Offlate city has started becoming uncomfortably hot during May and June, when mercury reaches beyond 40°C/104°F. May be because of Global Warming. Since last few year it is observed that high temperture days are followed by a shower which lowers the temperature to our comfort level for day or two than again temprature starts rising. This cycle continues for full high summer duration (May-June). Then comes monsoon with a welcome relief from heat of summer. The much awaited rain brings with it joy. The preached earth greets the showers with gratitude. Monsoon season is followed by a winter , which can be considered as the best season to visit this place.
